Ontotext participates in numerous research projects focusing on semantics, text analysis and information discovery. Since our founding within Sirma Group over 17 years ago, Ontotext has participated in more than 30 research projects and related initiatives. We are the most successful Bulgarian participant in EU research projects in FP5, FP6 and FP7, and were distinguished with the prestigious Pitagoras award.

European Holocaust Research Institute

EHRI is a flagship project that showcases the opportunities for historical research in the digital age. Its mission is to support the wider Holocaust research community by building a digital infrastructure and facilitating human networks. EHRI provides online access to information about dispersed sources relating to the Holocaust through its Online Portal, and tools and methods that enable researchers and archivists to collaboratively work with such sources.
